The Guadiana River that crosses the Herdade, known as the Great River of the South, holds memories of Man's incessant search over the centuries for the best terroir to create wines with a unique personality. The history of Encosta do Guadiana wine mirrors the experience and richness of this terroir of excellence, of the great wines of the south. Very deep garnet color. Great intensity and aromatic complexity with balsamic notes from the French oak barrel aged for 14 months, notes of plum and black cherry. A powerful and at the same time elegant wine with high quality tannins and an intense and long finish.
