The Guadiana River that crosses the Herdade, known as Rio Grande do Sul, holds memories of Man's incessant search over the centuries, for the best terroir to create wines with a unique personality. The history of Encosta do Guadiana wine mirrors the experience and richness of this terroir of excellence. Pale yellow color, with reflections, after fermentation in new French oak barrels aged for nine months with “Battonage”, it presents an exuberant and complex aroma, along with a remarkable elegance with a complex, firm and persistent structure.
